Recreation League Info

The goal of Cherry Hill Soccer Club’s Recreation League is to give each player the opportunity to develop a solid foundation of soccer skills while playing in a fun environment. In the Spring and Fall seasons children are placed on teams in the following Divisions determined by the player's birth year.  The player's age group for the soccer year is calculated by subtracting the player's birth year from the year of the soccer year spring season.  So for the Spring 2023 seasons, a player born in 2018 is eligible to play in the U4 Tot program in both seasons.

                    U10 and older play in intra-club games with Cherry Hill FC.  Age group divisions to be determined soon.

Boys and Girls are combined (coed) in the U4 Tot and U5 Mighty Mite Divisions.  Boys and Girls are separated in all the other Divisions. 

CHSC will follow the age group playing guidelines recently mandated by USSF as follows (subject to change at the discretion of the club's board of directors): 

U4 Tots thru U7 Minis will play 4v4 with no goalies.
U8 thru U10 will play 7v7
U11/U12 will play 9v9
U13 and older play 11v11.

CHERRY HILL SOCCER TRAVEL LEAGUE

Cherry Hill Soccer Club (CHSC) is a member of South Jersey Soccer League (SJSJ) for boys and South Jersey Girls Soccer League (SJGSL) for girls.  These are competitive travel soccer leagues that include towns from Princeton to Cape May.  CHSC fields teams in the U8 through U19 divisions.  Boys games are on Sunday afternoons and most girls age groups play on Saturday afternoons (Girls U15 and up play on Sunday).  In the Fall and Spring seasons each team has 5 home games and 5 away games.  
We also field several teams in the EDP and JAGS leagues.
