The goal of Cherry Hill Soccer Club’s Recreation League is to give each player the opportunity to develop a solid foundation of soccer skills while playing in a fun environment. In the Spring and Fall seasons children are placed on teams in the following Divisions determined by the player's birth year.  The player's age group for the soccer year is calculated by subtracting the player's birth year from the year of the soccer year fall season. 

Boys and Girls are combined (coed) in the U4 Tot and U5 Mighty Mite Divisions.  Boys and Girls are separated in all the other Divisions. 

CHSC will follow the age group playing guidelines recently mandated by USSF as follows (subject to change at the discretion of the club's board of directors): 

U4 Tots thru U7 Minis will play 4v4 with no goalies.
U8 thru U10 will play 7v7
U11/U12 will play 9v9
U13 and older play 11v11.

Coaches typically run 1 to 2 practices a week, at this time, children are taught soccer skills through fun games. Over the course of each season, children play at least 6 small-sided games. With small-sided games, each player gets to participate fully in the game and children are able to maximize their number of touches on the ball.

Each child will receive a ball (Fall season only unless player did not play in the fall), team jersey, socks and participation award. Parents must provide soccer cleats, shin guards and shorts.

We need your help!!! Volunteers are needed for coaching, field maintenance and other activities during the season.  Please volunteer to help when registering your child or when coaches ask!
